Flexible cards for everyday spend
Launch debit and prepaid programs on a dedicated BIN, with your preferred processor, push-to-card (OCT) capability, and funded from balances at Lead or elsewhere. Cards are backed by Lead's principal memberships with Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
Primary & secondary networks
Issue on Visa (debit and prepaid), Mastercard (debit and prepaid), or American Express (debit). For secondary networks, Lead supports Maestro, Interlink, and Pulse, so you do not need your own contract. For Star and Accel, Lead can facilitate a connection.
Stablecoin network settlement
Lead settles with the card networks using stablecoins seven days a week. Faster, blockchain-based funds movement mitigates settlement risk, reduces reserve requirements, and frees up capital, all while keeping crypto invisible to your program.
Processor of your choice
Instead of being locked into a bundled technology stack, you get to bring the issuing processor that best fits your program.
Durbin exemption
The Durbin Amendment requires the Federal Reserve to cap debit interchange fees for issuers with $10 billion or more in assets. Lead is, and will remain, Durbin-exempt.
Consumer, commercial, and brand support
Issue custom-designed virtual cards or physical cards, for both consumer and commercial use cases, including specialized programs like HSA and FSA.

Balance location flexibility
Most banks will only issue debit against funds they custody. Lead separates the payment instrument from the funding source, so the balance can live in a fiat or stablecoin wallet held elsewhere and still be used to authorize a card at Lead.
International debit issuance
Debit programs with no lending component fall outside the licensing and consumer-credit requirements that typically restrict cross-border issuance, enabling partners to issue cards outside the US.
Built around your program
Choose the processor, collateral model, and user experience that fit your business, not the limitations of your sponsor bank. With a dedicated BIN and Lead's principal network memberships, you can launch sophisticated card programs without becoming a network member yourself.
