Angela Blackburn

Angela Blackburn is the Chief People & Experiences Officer (CPO) of Lead Bank. 

Angela leads all human resources, benefits, and talent functions, overseeing the People, Payroll, Recruiting, and Facilities teams for all offices. She helps drive Lead’s success by attracting, developing, and retaining high-performing talent, and works with the executive team to build a culture that enables our employees to thrive.

Before Lead, Angela was Director of Human Resources at Safehome, a domestic violence shelter for women. Prior to that, she spent seven years at Peoples Bank as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, where she scaled the People team as the company quadrupled in size. And she previously served as Vice President of Human Resources at First Home Bank.

Angela received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Human Resources Development from Pittsburg State University and is HR-certified with her SHRM-CP. She was named in the Kansas City Business Journal’s "20 to Know in Banking" list in 2025.
